The Caribbean is on full display in New York City this week for the Caribbean Tourism Organization’s annual Caribbean Week.

From Anguilla to Trinidad, Caribbean nations have brought political and tourism officials to New York for a full-on marketing push.

Caribbean Week officially began on Saturday with a gospel celebration at the Bethesda Healing Centre in Brooklyn, and continues with events covering everything from rum to fashion.

On Tuesday morning, a pop-up Fish Fry stand located on 6th Avenue was featured on the Fox & Friends television programme.

On Tuesday night, the CTO is hosting a Caribbean Fashion show at the New Yorker Hotel, while a group of chefs from Haiti to Grand Cayman will be holding cooking demonstrations across the city.

Caribbean Week concludes with the Rum & Rhythm party at Tribeca 360 on Friday.

Check Caribbean Journal this week for continuing coverage of Caribbean Week.
