Bahamas Extends Condolences to United States on Oklahoma Catastrophe

The Bahamas is extending its condolences to the United States on the “catastrophic damage” caused by the recent passing of a massive tornado in Oklahoma.

Bahamas Foreign Minister Fred Mitchell conveyed its “deep sadness” to the US through via diplomatic notes to US Secretary of State John Kerry.

“I wish to convey deepest sympathies to the government and people of the United States of America, and particularly to the families of the dead and injured,” Mitchell said in a statement.

The tornado, which occurred on Monday, killed at least 24 people.
