A delegation from the Tobago House of Assembly will travel to Guadeloupe next week for a one-week visit.
The trip comes as part of plans to twin the city of Scarborough with the city of Sainte-Anne in Guadeloupe, just over a month after Tobago’s House of Assembly hosted a working group from Sainte-Anne.
The Tobago team will visit chocolate, coffee, sugarcane and cassava factories in Sainte-Anne, and meet with town councillors.
The team will be led by Agriculture, Marine Affairs, Marketing and the Environment Assemblyman Godwin Adams.
Sainte-Anne is located in the southern portion of the Grande-Terre island of the Guadeloupe chain.
