Aimbridge Hospitality has been tapped to rebrand and manage the former Hotel Royal Decameron Fun Caribbean resort on Runaway Bay in St Ann’s Jamaica.

The all-inclusive hotel, which was acquired in February by Sagicor Life Jamaica, will become the Jewel Paradise Cover Resort & Spa, the third Jewel-branded resort in Jamaica.

All 225 rooms will be redesigned in what the company said would be a “colonial contemporary” style.

“The addition of our third property in Jamaica to the Jewel Resorts brand marks a proud time for us,” said Dave Johnson, president and CEO of Aimbridge Hospitality. “Our plans  are to transform this private beachfront retreat into a luxury healthy  lifestyle all-inclusive resort with the signature amenities and service levels that are the model for Jewel Resorts.”

The property was at one time the Hedonism III resort.

Sagicor is the largest life insurance company in Jamaica.
