Jay-Z’s recent trip to Havana led to a national controversy, and now the rapper has released a new song addressing it.

The song, “Open Letter,” was released on Jay Z’s Life+Times blog.

Jay-Z’s appearance led to an inquiry from two Florida lawmakers, who asked the Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control about the legality of the trip.

In a letter released this week, OFAC said the trip was organized through an approved tour operator.

Here are some of the lyrics:

“Boy from the hood but got White House clearance”

“Politicians never did shit for me/ Except lie to me, distort history/ wanna give me jail time and a fine / Fine, let me commit a real crime”

“Obama said, ‘Chill, you’re going to get me impeached’ / You don’t need this shit anyway, chill with me on the beach.”

“I’m in Cuba, I love Cubans / This communist talk is so confusing / When it’s from China, the very mic that I’m using.”

They wanna give me jail time and a fine — Fine, let me commit a real crime”
