Dr Michael Darville, the Bahamas’ Minister for Grand Bahama, recently led a trade delegation to Sao Paulo.

The delegation visited the Transamerica Expo Centre for the Intermodal South America expo, the second largest global exhibition for the logistics, transport and trade sectors.

Darville was joined on the trip by Ian Fair, chairman of the Grand Bahama Port Authority and Henry St George, vice president of the Grand Bahama Port Authority, along with executives of Hutchinson Port Holdings, the Grand Bahama Shipyard and V-Trade.

Darville and Fair both expressed optimism about the opportunities for Grand Bahama in Brazil and the wider South American region.
