Antigua Prime Minister Meets With New Ambassador From Switzerland

Antigua Prime Minister Dr Baldwin Spencer met last week with Line Marie Leon-Pernet, Switzerland’s new Ambassador to the country.

The two sides focused on ways to expand cooperation between the countries. Spencer said that providing tertiary education opportunities for young Antiguans and Barbudans was part of his government’s sustainable development agenda.

Leon-Pernet said she welcomed proposed areas for cooperation including education and culture.

Antigua and Barbuda and Switzerland have had diplomatic relations since December 1983.
