Nevis Premier Vance Amory met this week with Chile’s Ambassador to St Kitts and Nevis, Eduardo Bonilla Menchaca.
The visit followed the presentation of the Ambassador’s credentials to Governor General Sir Edmund Lawrence in St Kitts earlier this week.
Amory said one topic of discussion was taking advantage of Chile’s expertise in the fisheries and agriculture sector.
“I look forward to other areas and times of meeting and to have the cooperative assistance of your country as time goes on,” Amory told the envoy.
The Ambassador is based in Jamaica is also non-resident Ambassador to Antigua and Dominica.
“This is a very nice country it is a very nice island,” the Ambassador said. “I love it and I am going to spend my holidays here, so I thank you very much and appreciate very much this moment that you gave me.”
He also said the director of the Chilean International Cooperation Agency would soon make a visit to the twin-island federation.
