Former US President Bill Clinton will be in Haiti beginning on Sunday with an agricultural investment delegation.

The two-day trip will include visits to sites highlighting Haiti’s agricultural sector. Clinton will also announce grants, according to a release from the Clinton Foundation.

On Sunday, Clinton visits the Smallholder Farmers Alliance site in Gonaives, followed by a trip to the North Coast Development building, where he will tour the central building and surrounding fields.

Sunday’s agenda will also feature trips to Zanmi Agricole and Agricultural School in Corporant.

On Monday, Clinton, the UN’s Special Envoy for Haiti since 2009, will visit the Cafe Rebo coffee plant and the Heineken Brana brewery in Port-au-Prince.

Last week, Haiti Agriculture Minister Thomas Jacques traveled to Washington for a series of meetings with US agriculture officials.
