Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz and Mexico’s match in Mexico City ended in a scoreless tie Wednesday evening in the latest round of CONCACAF World Cup Qualifying.

In an uneventful match at the Estadio Azteca, Mexico’s Hector Moreno made the only news in receiving a yellow card for a bad foul in the 90th minute of play.

The tie represented a victory of sorts against a Mexico team currently ranked 15th in the world, and one that is notoriously difficult to defeat at the Azteca. Jamaica is currently ranked 58th in the world, according to the FIFA/Coca-Cola world rankings released last month.

This is the final round of World Cup qualifying. Jamaica and Mexico are currently tied for second place behind Honduras, which defeated the US 2-1 Wednesday.
