St Lucia’s government concluded a two-day Cabinet retreat Sunday.

The trip, held at the Coconut Bay Resort and Spa in Vieux-Fort, aimed to to review “the governance of the country in the past year.”

It sought to “assess the work of the government and to set priorities for the ensuing year,” according to a press statement.

Prime Minister Dr Kenny Anthony said he was hopeful that the retreat would provide “an avenue for the Cabinet and other contributors to offer views on the work of Government during the last year and provide guidance on the policy direction for the future.”

The retreat ended with a service at the Vieux-Fort Catholic Church on Sunday.
