Choice Hotels International will soon debut a new property in Guyana, the company announced.
The 25-room Georgetown property, part of Choice Hotels’ Ascend Hotel Collection, is slated to open in the early part of this year.
The Ascent hotel, called The Opus, will feature 23 guest rooms and two executive rooms, a restaurant and bar.
“This elegant, boutique property is a wonderful addition to our network,” said Sal Icaza, Director, Franchise Sales and Development of Choice Hotels International.
The property is owned by Guyanese businessman Wilfred Brandford.
