Magic Johnson, Rick Fox Pay Visit to Bahamian Prime Minister

Hall of Fame basketball player Earvin “Magic” Johnson and fellow Los Angeles Lakers star Rick Fox paid a visit on Bahamian Prime Minister Perry Christie at his office Monday.

Johnson, who won five NBA championships with the Lakers, is part of the the Los Angeles Dodgers baseball team’s ownership group.

Fox, who played the final six seasons of his 13-year career with Los Angeles, is of Bahamian heritage. His father is Bahamian, and Fox grew up in Nassau. He won three championships of his own.

On hand at Christie’s office were Bahamian officials including National Security Minister Dr Bernard Nottage, Tourism Minister Obie Wilchcombe, Minister of State for Investments Khaalis Rolle, Attorney General Allyson Maynard-Gibson and Deputy Prime Minister Philip Brave Davis.
