Grenada Prime Minister Tillman Thomas has accepted the resignation of Environment Minister Glynis Roberts, he said in a statement.

Roberts had earlier resigned from the ruling National Democratic Congress cabinet, as first reported on Thursday.

She had previously served as Grenada’s Tourism Minister and Labour Minister.

Thomas said he extended “best wishes to Ms Roberts in all her future endeavours.”
