Deaths related to the passage of Tropical Storm Isaac in Haiti have continued to climb, with the latest report at 19, according to a report from Haiti’s Civil Protection office Monday morning.

Of those, 11 were in the country’s west and southeast regions, according to the office.

“Although Isaac officially left the country, we must remain vigilant,” Haiti President Michel Martelly said in a statement Sunday night.

The President urged citizens not to take changes with continued flooding, and asked citizens to go to shelters if necessary.
