The 2012 edition of Nevis’ annual carnival-style Culturama festival was a “success,” according to Premier Joseph Parry.
“This year’s Culturama was incident-free, the attendance was extremely good and the shows were of top quality,” Parry said.
The Premier said a number of Nevisians living abroad came home for the fete, including many persons who “have not been on Nevis in many years.”
Work on Cultrama 2013 will reportedly begin in October, with marketing strategies, a plan for a calendar of events and fund raisers.
“Yes, Culturama 2012 was a success, but I know 2013 will be even better,” he said.
