Jamaica’s Usain Bolt, Yohan Blake, Warren Weir Advance to 200M Final

Jamaica will be sending the trio of Usain Bolt, Yohan Blake and Warren Weir into the finals of the men’s 200-metre race on Thursday.
Usan Bolt and Yohan Blake both qualified for the finals of the men’s 200-metre race following their heat victories in the semifinals Wednesday.
Blake won Heat 1 in 20.01 seconds, .01 seconds ahead of American Wallace Spearmon and France’s Christophe Lemaitre.
Bolt won his heat as well, finishing with a slightly-slower time of 20.18 seconds.
Jamaica’s Warren Weir also qualified for the finals with a time of 20.28 seconds.
Two Caribbean sprinters were disqualified at the outset, including St Kitts and Nevis’ Antoine Adams and the Bahamas’ Michael Mathieu.
