Cuba has upped its medal count to five with the addition of its first two gold medals of the London Olympic Games.
Cuba’s Leuris Pupo took home gold in the Men’s 25m Rapid Fire Pistol competition, while Cuba’s Idalys Ortiz won gold in the women’s 78kg judo competition.

The latter represented the third judo medal for Cuba in the Games, following silvers by Cuba’s Asley Gonzalez and Yanet Bermoy Acosta.

Cuba’s Ivan Rodriguez Cambar took home bronze in the Men’s 77kg weightlifting competition.
