A strong showing from Martinique’s Ronny Turiaf and Guadeloupe’s Florent Pietrus was not enough as USA Basketball steamrolled France in London, 98-71.

Turiaf notched seven points and Pietrus finished with eight, but France, led by San Antonio Spurs star Tony Parker, could not keep up after a close first quarter.

Fellow Guadeloupe native Mickael Gelabale scored four points.

Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant led the United States with 22 points. Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kevin Love finished with 14.

Turiaf took home an NBA championship ring in helping LeBron James and the Miami Heat win the NBA Finals last month.

Pietrus is the brother of NBA player Mickael Pietrus, a free agent who most recently played for the Boston Celtics.

He currently plays for Valencia Basket in Spain. Gelabale plays for Khimki Moscow in Russia.

Ali Traore led France with 12 points.
