Haiti recently signed a cooperation agreement with the United Nations World Tourism Organization, according to the country’s Ministry of Tourism.

The agreement was announced by Haiti Tourism Minister Stephanie Villedrouin following a meeting with the UNWTO’s Johanne Thebaud.

It is the latest tourism agreement signed by Haiti of late, following a pact between the governments of Haiti and Mexico signed in Mexico City earlier this month.

The agreement covers several areas aimed at improving tourism development in Haiti, according to Villedrouin.
