Jamaica Appoints New Solicitor General

Jamaica’s Public Service Commission has announced the appointment of Nicole Foster-Pusey as the country’s new Solicitor General.

Foster-Pusey’s appointment takes effect Aug. 7.

She previously served in the Attorney General’s chambers from 1993 to 2008 after completing her Certificate in Legal Education at the Norman Manley Law School.

Foster-Pusey received a Master of Law at the University of Cambridge.

The PSC also announced the appointment of Deirdre AP English-Gosse as CEO of the Registrar General’s Department.
