Haiti’s footballers are now the highest-ranked side in the Caribbean.

Haiti has jumped nine spots, overtaking Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz, according to the FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking released today. Haiti is now ranked 62nd in the world, just ahead of Honduras and Jamaica, which are tied at 63rd.

Haiti has made one appearance in the World Cup, in 1974.

Jamaica’s squad fell three spots in July’s rankings.

The next-highest ranked Caribbean team is Trinidad and Tobago, which jumped tow spots to 80th in the world.
