A delegation from the Reserve Bank of the Dominican Republic (BanReservas), has concluded a meeting with officials at Haiti’s Central Bank.

The BanReservas officials met with a contingent of monetary officials including Michele Delerme and Haiti Central Bank Governor Charles Castel, among others.

The Dominican Republic’s delegation included Ruben Silie, the country’s ambassador to Haiti and Vicente Bengoa Albizu, general manager of BanReservas.

The discussions followed a visit by Dominican Foreign Minister Carlos Morales Troncoso last week with Haitian President Michel Martelly.

Martelly will make an official visit to the neighbouring country March 26.
