Vedel K Browne has been arrested for the robbery of US Supreme Court Justice in Nevis on Feb. 9.

The report, first made by the St Kitts and Nevis Observer, was confirmed to Caribbean Journal by the Royal St Christopher and Nevis Police Force in Charlestown.

Sgt Cledwyn Jeffers told Caribbean Journal that Vedel had originally turned himself in to police custody in Basseterre, St Kitts and had been transferred to Charlestown.

“He’s in police custody,” he said.

Browne has been charged with robbery, and while a bail hearing was initially supposed to be set for Monday, that will likely happen Tuesday, Jeffers said.
