St Lucia’s Anthony Names Cabinet

New St Lucian Prime Minister Dr Kenny Anthony named his new cabinet yesterday, which was sworn in at a ceremony in Parliament.

Anthony’s St Lucia Labour Party regained power by winning the country’s elections last Monday.

Anthony himself assumed the portfolios for Finance and Economic Affairs, Planning and Social Security in the Cabinet, which includes two women and 12 men.

Anthony said the Attorney General would be announced shortly.
