Antigua’s Buccaneer Cove Development Could Begin in 2012

The $70 million Buccaneer Cove development in Antigua could begin development in 2012, Antigua Finance Minister Harold Lovell announced in the government’s 2012 budget statement.

“Based on recent developments, we expect that the Buccaneer Cove development will finally begin in 2012,” Lovell said in the statement. “This high-tech condominium development is expected to employ up to 300 persons during the construction and operation stages.”

Lovell also said he expected development to begin on a $30 million, 70-room hotel at Valley Church.
