Belize is projected to have a 2 percent annual population growth rate for the first half of this decade, the fastest pace in CARICOM, according to the United Nations Development Programme.
Belize, which has a population of 300,000, is followed by Haiti, at 1.3 percent, and St Kitts and Nevis, which, at 1.2 percent, is the third-fastest rate in the report.
The Bahamas is fourth with a projected rate of 1.1 percent from 2010 to 2015.
