Grenada will receive a $7.1 million grant from the German government, as part of bilateral support for climate change adaptation projects. Environmental specialists from Germany were in Grenada Tuesday to meet with Environment Minister Joseph Gilbert, along with a group of stakeholders, to discuss ideas and proposals. Grenada is one of two pilot study countries for the programme along with Mali, earning the grant because of its current position as Chairman of the Alliance of Small Island States.
