Trinidad Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar was expected to be discharged from the St Clair Medical Centre at 9AM this morning, according to a release from her office. The Prime Minister had checked into hospital Wednesday after complaining of feeling unwell. According to her doctor, Dickson Marchack, all of her “investigative assessments are normal or close to normal for a woman her age,” although there was some concern about the swelling of her feet, Health Minister Dr Fuad Khan said.
