Clinton, Martelly Form Investment Board

Haitian President Michel Martelly and former US President Bill Clinton announced a new advisory board aimed at attracting investors to Haiti. “To build the economy, we need new ideas and new investments,” said Laurent Lamothe, a telecom entrepreneur who advises the Haitian president. Lamothe was named co-chairman of the council, along with Clinton, who is the UN’s special envoy to the country. [AP via Forbes]
