World football governing body FIFA will launch a probe of at least 10 Caribbean football officials concerning alleged bribery at a meeting in May in Port of Spain, according to two sources. The meeting in Trinidad, where Mohamed Bin Hammam allegedly gave envelopes containing $40,000 to secure votes for his presidential candidacy, led to the resignation of Trinidad Minister Jack Warner, against whom the probe was halted after he left FIFA. “We cannot speculate on what will happen tomorrow or in the future,” FIFA said in a statement.
