Cheddi Jagan Official: All Systems in Place After Caribbean Airlines Crash

Cheddi Jagan Airport officials said all systems were in place after the crash of Caribbean Airlines Flight BW 523 on July 30. Caribbean Airlines representatives are currently in Georgetown, along with officials from the United States’ National Transportation Safety Board. Calls between airport officials, maintenance staff and fire service were made according to established procedures, according to senior executive officer Ramesh Ghir.
