In China, Registering a Bahamian Ship

Former Bahamian Governor-General Sir Orville Turnquest launched the latest vessel to be registered on the Bahamian ship registry last week, the CS Calvina. The ship, which will join the fleet of Campbell Shipping Company Limited, is one of a number of ships on the Bahamian registry which was built in China. Bahamian firm GTR Campbell supervised the construction of the ship, which was built by Tianjin Xingang Shipbuilding Heavy Indusry Co. Ltd.
