CARICOM Establishes Health Agency

Caribbean leaders assembled in Basseterre, St Kitts signed the agreement establishing the Caribbean Public Health Agency. Dr Edward Greene, a special advisor to CARPHA, had previously said the agency would be a “major step towards improving health for people in the Caribbean, and is a significant step in the region’s development.”
