CARICOM has just concluded its Heads of Government meeting in Guyana, and Antiguan Prime Minister Baldwin Spencer said the group had reaffirmed its commitment to single-market integration. “Much has been accomplished over the years in several areas including functional co-operation in human and social development and the Single Market,” Spencer said in a statement. “The work must continue but may require recalibration from time to time since today’s challenges were not ancitipated by the Revised Treaty of Chaguaramas.” Among the topics discussed at the conference were the Caribbean Court of Justice, movement of persons and commodity prices.
