The Democratic National Alliance, a new political party in the Bahamas, is set for launch this week by leader Branville McCartney, MP for Bamboo Town. McCartney, who was a former cabinet minister and member of the ruling Free National Movement, reportedly plans to see the party challenge all or most of the seats in the next general election.
