Eleven counsellors of the Inter-American Development Bank are in Barbados looking at local projects funded by the bank. Representatives of the bank, which last week warned that the region was in danger of significant effects from rising food prices, are meeting with Barbados’ Housing and Neighborhood Upgrading Programme and the Caribbean Development Bank, along with a visit later this week with the Barbados Chamber of Commerce.
