A New Way to Sail Around the BVI

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - November 20, 2018

Sailing around the British Virgin Islands on a charter boat is one of the ultimate Caribbean getaways.

But if you’re a solo traveler, a couple or a small group, it’s not always practical or easy to charter a whole boat.

That’s why Sunsail has launched a new kind of sailing experience: Sail By the Cabin.

The new option gives guests the chance to book a private en-suite double cabin, without having to book the entire yacht.

All Sail By the Cabin getaways, which will include several yachts sailing together, include professional Captains skippering the yachts, along with the support of a lead boat.

The “flotillas” can include as many as 10 yachts.

“This unique vacation option gives guests a more affordable option to experience the best of an expertly- guided Sunsail vacation. It also provides an exciting environment where guests will make new friends and experience some of the world’s most sought-after destinations through this one-of-a-kind adventure,” said Josie Tucci, vice president of sales and marketing at Sunsail. “We encourage vacationers with a desire to see the world differently to come aboard and experience this unique Sunsail vacation.”
