The results are in from this year’s RumXP rum jury at the Miami Rum Festival, and the winners include some established names and some new faces.
Barbados’ Mount Gay XO took home the top crown, winning best in class for the premium aged category, while Belize’s Tiburon Rum took home best in class in the aged rum category.
Martinique’s La Mauny took home the top honors in the agricole category for its Hors XO, while Jamaica’s Monymusk Classic Gold won best in class for the gold category.
Carmelita’s Spiced Orange won best in class in the flavored category, while Plantation OFTD won best for the overproof category.
RumXP is among the most prestigious rum competitions in the world and is held each year at the Miami Rum Festival.
