A new resort and spa is coming to the Placencia peninsula of Belize: Naïa.
The property, which is set on a mile-long stretch of beach and surrounded by forests and lagoons, is in the heart of a 200-acre reserve in southern Belize.
The property consists of 35 “Beach Houses,” each of which includes a private ocean-view veranda, air conditioning, deep soaking tubs, private outdoor showers, a wet bar, flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi and local art.
Naïa’s rooms come in either studio, one-, two- or three-bedroom layouts.
Naïa also has three restaurants, along with a 10,000-square-foot spa and wellness complex set in a series of lagoons.
The property is set to open its doors Nov. 16, with a grand opening planned for January.
