Winair Adding More Flights to Dominica, Puerto Rico

St Maarten-based Winair is continuing its Caribbean expansion with a number of new flights for the summer season.

The carrier announced that it would be adding daily service between Antigua and Dominica’s Canefield airport, along with daily service between St Maarten and Canefield.

The flights will be operated on Winair’s DHC-6 300 aircraft.

Winair also said it would be increasing its St Maarten-San Juan service to four flights per week, in partnership with Air Antilles.

The flights will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays on ATR-500 aircraft.

“The San Juan market is important to St. Maarten and as it was being underserved WINAIR and Air Antilles decided to operate this vital service,” said Michael Cleaver, president and CEO.
