This New Carnival Ship Has a Two-Deck Spa (And a Hammam)

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - May 27, 2016

Carnival’s new Vista cruise ship has a major new amenity: a two-deck spa called Cloud 9.

The spa includes everything from an infrared sauna to a Hammam Chamber, along with “experience showers” that even have their own fragrance elements.

Relaxing in the thermal suite in the Carnival Vista's Cloud 9 Spa thermal suite is a soothing end to a shore excursion in port. The largest and most innovative cruise vessel in Carnival Cruise Line's fleet, Carnival Vista measures 133,500 tons, 1,055 feet long and has a guest capacity of almost 4,000 passengers. Carnival Vista, the line’s newest ship, debuted earlier this month in Europe.

The spa also includes a “Thermal Suite” offering “intensive relaxation and a new sensory experience.”

There’s also a fitness center that includes a 45-minute cycling class called RYDE.

Vista will be launching year-round six- and eight-day Caribbean cruises from Miami beginning in November.
