The Grand Lucayan resort in Grand Bahama has announced the appointment of Juan Romero as its new Group Sales Manager.

Romero joins Grand Lucayan with an extensive background in marketing and sales, and will be focusing on the southeastern market and travel agent sales.

“Romero’s sales management expertise and his outstanding relationship-building skills make him the ideal candidate to enhance Grand Lucayan’s executive team,” said Tom Anderson, Chief Marketing Officer for the Grand Lucayan. “We believe that his passion for the hospitality industry and demonstrated commitment will help ensure that the property continues to stay top-of-mind for both our past and future customers.”

Prior to taking on the new role, Romero served as Special Project Manager and Sales Manager with Wyndham Hotels and Resorts in Mexico and the Caribbean.

“I am thrilled to be working at such an iconic Bahamian property,” Romero said. “Grand Lucayan is truly one-of-a-kind, offering outstanding service and some of the finest amenities in the Caribbean.”
