11 Great Beaches in Nassau, Bahamas
NASSAU — It’s simple: Nassau, otherwise known as the Bahamian island of New Providence, has some of the region’s most beautiful beaches. They have pure sand, classic Bahamian turquoise water and, most importantly, many of them are almost always empty. That means these aren’t just great beaches in Nassau — you might as well call most of them private beaches. Here are some of the best on the island of New Providence, with an emphasis on the beautiful northwestern coast — all of which can be navigated by driving on West Bay Street. (All photos by CJ)
Cabbage Beach
Perhaps the most famous beach in Nassau and Paradise Island, this Paradise Island beach is as beautiful a stretch of sand as you’ll find anywhere in the Caribbean.
