Turks and Caicos Premier Dr Rufus Ewing has assumed the tourism portfolio as part of a Cabinet reshuffle following the recent by-election victory of Amanda Missick.

Ewing had previously held responsibility for investment and trade, a portfolio which now shifts to former Tourism Minister Charles Washington Misick.

Amanda Misick, who had held the Ministry of Health and Human Services, now covers the Ministry of Environment, Home Affairs and Agriculture.

Ricardo Don-Hue Gardiner, who had served as Minister of Border Control and Labour, was removed from Cabinet in the reshuffle.

George Lightbourne retained the Ministry of Government Support Services and Akierra Misick retained the Ministry of Education, Youth, Sports and Culture.

Portia Stubbs-Smith took over the Health Ministry from Amanda Misick.
