CARICOM Secretary General to Make Official Visit to Bahamas

CARICOM Secretary General Irwin LaRocque will be making an official visit to the Bahamas beginning Wednesday.
LaRocque will meet with Bahamian Foreign Minister Frederick Mitchell, National Security Minister Bernard Nottage and Prime Minister Perry Christie.
On Thursday, he will also meet with CARICOM Youth Ambassadors. Following that meeting, the Secretary General will speak with the Bahamian media.
On Friday, LaRocque will depart for Haiti for the Meeting of the Heads of Government of CARICOM in Port-au-Prince, which will take place from Feb. 18 to Feb. 19.
