Jamaica, IDB to Host Investment Forum

The Inter-American Development Bank and Jamaica will host the Jamaica Investment Forum in Montego Bay March 1 and 2.

The forum, which will be conducted in partnership with the Compete Caribbean Programme, will focus on projects in Jamaica’s ICT, manufacturing and tourism sectors.

Jamaican Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller will preside over the conference’s opening session at the Montego Bay Convention Centre.

The conference will also address Jamaica’s investment climate and will take a look at investment-ready projects in the country.
